Iñigo Viu Huguet (1988, Barcelona) moved to Amsterdam in 2009. Ever since, photography has played a major role in his life. After more than 8 years of working in the hospitality industry and playing guitar in a band on the side, he decided to quit his job and went back to study Audio engineering.
It wasn’t until he finished his degree in 2018 and had assisted the film department on a few projects that he started seeing photography as the medium he was naturally drawn into every time inspiration struck.
Learning about photography on his own allowed him to see the city from a different perspective, that of an outsider who, despite having no history in it, started feeling this energy that pulled me to want to document the raw beauty of it, show it for what it is and represents for the people who live here—a place where you can truly be yourself without any judgments.
